• Then, Dr. Adelpour will scale the teeth and uses powerful yet soothing lasers to scrape away any plaque and tartar from the teeth and in any large gum pockets.
• After removing residual bacteria throughout the mouth, our dentist will conduct the root planing. He will use a specialized tool to smooth out the tooth roots and reattach the gingival tissue to the teeth.
• Again, depending on severity, Dr. Adelpour might prescribe additional treatments, like antimicrobial mouthwash or antibiotics intended to help you recover swiftly.
