Originally from Thousand Oaks, CA, Dr. Daniel Adelpour is a proud California native. He is the third son of Iranian immigrants who moved to the United States for a better life for their family.
Dr. Adelpour attended the University of California, Los Angeles, for his undergraduate degree in psychobiology, where he learned how science and people’s behaviors and thoughts intertwine.
Dr. Adelpour’s desire to continue his education took him to the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. While at USC, Dr. Adelpour was heavily involved in student organizations. Most notably, he was the president of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association (SPEA), where he promoted and supported his peers’ lifelong commitment to ethical behavior. Furthermore, he was Vice President of the Associated Student Body Executive Council, overseeing student projects and events and managing finances for the USC Dental School. Aside from academic endeavors at USC, Dr. Adelpour served on mission trips to Cambodia, Nicaragua, and Panama to transform the lives and oral health of the underserved. During these trips, Dr. Adelpour and his team helped many patients without access and completed over $500,000 worth of dental treatment at each clinic they visited.
Dr. Adelpour completed his residency in San Diego, CA, and completed the NYU Langone Dental Medicine program. He received certifications in multiple facets of dentistry there, including Invisalign®, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Emergency Dentistry.
Dr. Adelpour is passionate about helping his patients achieve their perfect smiles and primarily practices cosmetic dentistry. Starting with dental bonding, he fell in love with the immediate and life-changing results of this convenient cosmetic dentistry procedure. Soon after, Dr. Adelpour became an expert in porcelain veneers and continued to expand his repertoire of cosmetic offerings.
Dr. Adelpour enjoys staying up to date with the latest dental technology and prioritizes his patient’s comfort and happiness. To stay current in dentistry and give patients the quality care they deserve, Dr. Adelpour invests his time in continuing education courses and participates in dental forums. Also, BLVD Dental Aesthetics is entirely digital for patient convenience. From patient forms sent directly to your phone to comfortable and intricate 3D scanners and digital smile design software that helps patients visualize treatment outcomes, Dr. Adelpour centers his practice on patient education and the best possible care.
As a dentist, Dr. Adelpour prides himself on teaching his patients what’s going on with their mouths and how he can resolve their oral health issues. Many loyal BLVD Dental Aesthetics patients boast about Dr. Adelpour’s meticulous and honest nature, which goes beyond standard practitioner trust. Not only does Dr. Adelpour want his patients to trust his diagnosis and expertise, but he also takes the time to educate them good-naturedly on what exactly is going on with their smiles and how he can improve them.
Besides establishing trust, respect, and honesty with his patient population, the BLVD Dental Aesthetics team also offers exceptional comforts, like blankets, neck pillows, and a TV above the patient’s chair so that individuals can feel as relaxed as possible during dental appointments.
Furthermore, Dr. Adelpour uses advanced single-tooth anesthesia (STA) to help patients return to their day as usual without worrying about how they will look, speak, or drink.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Adelpour enjoys spending time with his wife, Judith, an orthodontist. He enjoys visiting comedy clubs, hiking and soaking up the natural beauty of the Los Liones Trail, and preparing home-cooked meals.
